This prestigious championship is sure to provide thrills and spills on the spectacular sandy venue just off the A12 when the action starts at 8:45 am with practice and qualifying. The race programme features an exciting line-up of eight races which include two 25 minutes plus 2 lap motos for both the MX1 and MX2 classes, and two championship races for the Big Wheel 85cc, Youth 125cc and Youth 250cc classes.

For the host club, Woodbridge and DMCC, the return of the event is a testament to the standard of the venue & their attention to detail which has seen them named as 'Organiser of the Year' in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021.

In the MX1 class, the battle at the front of the Championship is between current championship leader Harri Kullas on the Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha and the Crendon Fastrack Honda Hitachi Tru7.com pairing of Conrad Mewse and Josh Gilbert with the trio separated by just 8 points. Gilbert and Kullas both recently competed a Blaxhall with Gilbert coming out on top and hoping to repeat the victory on Sunday. The former two-time MX2 British Champion Banks-Browne will be heading to Blaxhall in great form after taking the race win and overall, at the previous round at Foxhill. Taylor Hammel and Jake Millward also head to Blaxhall in the top 5 of the championship standings.

Local riders to watch out for in the MX2 class include Bury St Edmunds Sam Nunn (Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha), James Cottrell who will be making a return to British Championship action along with Callum Murfitt, Jake Rackham and Josh Peters who will be looking to use their track knowledge at Blaxhall to good advantage and record some impressive results in the two races.

Blaxhall also features the Youth 125 class where Reece Jones (SJP Moto KTM) currently leads the championship ahead of Cambridgeshire’s Wal Beaney and Jake Walker in third.

Racing alongside the Youth 125cc class is the Youth 250cc class, which is currently led by Billy Askew on the GTCI Revo Kawasaki who is currently unbeaten this season. Second in the championship is Blaxhall regular Liam Bennett, ahead of Jak Taylor.
