British Youth National Championship - 30 July 2015
Charlie Heyman takes charge at Desertmartin
Keywords: 65cc class | desertmartin | highlights | round 4 |
Once again the racing in the 65cc class at the Thor British Youth Nationals was exceptional.
The youngest riders in the championship tackled a tough and huge Desertmartin track in fine style and in doing so proved we have an abundance of future stars waiting in the wings.
Charlie Heyman did the business with five impressive race wins, even a slight blip in moto 3 didn’t dampen his 100% effort in wanting to win at the iconic Desertmartin circuit, he’ll remember this event for a long time that's for sure.
Runner up spot went to XBladez Husqvarna rider Raife Broadley, Raife put in his best ride of the year so far and with one round to go, anything is possible at Fat Cat Moto Parc in 3 weeks time.
The flying Mohawk of Alfie Jones took one race win in moto 3 and did enough to finish on the podium in third place, Alfie is now leading the championship by 40 points from Charlie and Raife. The final round in a few weeks time to find this years British 65cc champion is going to be insane - be there or miss out.
Ross Simpson, Ayden Smith and Ollie Colmer rounded off the top 6, these guys were super consistent in all six races - great performance by all.
