Exciting Husqvarna Motorcycles Plans for HydroGarden Weston Beach Race
RHL Activities is delighted to announce that iconic motorcycle brand Husqvarna Motorcycles UK will be heading to the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Powered by KTM on October 19-21 for the biggest, baddest and most bonkers motorsport event in the UK.
With hundreds of riders preparing for the build-up to the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Powered by KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles is offering the opportunity for competitors racing Husqvarna Motorcycles machinery to ‘WIN A FACTORY RIDE.’ The competition gives Husqvarna Motorcycles racers a chance to win a support for their own bike under the official Husqvarna Motorcycles team awning next to some of the pro racers with mechanics, assistance with preparation and the all-important fuel stops being carried out by factory experts for the weekend.
Husqvarna Motorcycles has over 100 years of history in motorcycle manufacturing and is an iconic and world-renowned brand. The company has more recently been known for its excellence in offroad machines, as well as continuing with its pioneering roots thanks to its very special range of street bikes with the Husqvarna Vitpilen and Svartpilen range.
Not only that, Husqvarna Motorcycles is a rising name once again in offroad competition. Husqvarna Motorcycles won the AMA Supercross Championship in both the 450SX class and 250SX East class earlier this year with Jason Anderson and Zach Osborne, and has enjoyed numerous wins in rally, with two-time World Cross-Country Rallies champion Pablo Quintanilla current leading the 2018 standings, along with a wide range of success in enduro and motocross racing. Star enduro rider Billy Bolt, who recently won the Red Bull Romaniacs, has recently announced he will line-up for his debut appearance at the Weston-Super-Mare race for the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team.
Husqvarna has a wide range of bikes on offer for many different applications, and is looking forward to putting on a large display at the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Powered by KTM. Husqvarna Motorcycles UK staff will be on hand to discuss the dynamic product range, there will be branded products on sales and factory machinery will be in attendance.
For your chance to ‘WIN A FACTORY RIDE’ you must be competing in the solo class and be riding a Husqvarna Motorcycle. Simply post a picture of your Husqvarna Motorcycle on the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Facebook page. We’re looking for originality as well as popularity, so be creative – Husqvarna Motorcycles always rewards pioneers!
Simon Roots: Husqvarna Motorcycles Marketing, Events and Motorsport Manager
“Husqvarna Motorcycles is a pioneering brand, and as such greatly values events such as the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race. For riders and spectators alike, the event is a highlight on the offroad calendar. The fact the event combines elements of motocross, enduro and youth racing means that Husqvarna Motorcycles can connect with everyone that’s interested in offroad riding – be they racers, riders or spectators. And, of course, Husqvarna Motorcycles will be gunning for the win. Billy Bolt is a huge star in the sport, and we have high hopes that he will continue his Romaniacs form through to Weston”
Gareth Hockey: Director of RHL Activities
“Having such an iconic brand as Husqvarna Motorcycles at the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race is special to us. A long heritage in motorcycle production and racing makes this a very recognisable company, with a clear direction in their pioneering motorcycle goals. In recent years Husqvarna has been brought back to the forefront of racing, and for them to attend such an iconic motorsport event as the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Powered by KTM makes absolute sense. We look forward to seeing their display on the promenade, and we would like to thank the crew at Husqvarna Motorsports UK for their support.”
