This year’s HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Powered by KTM, which takes place on 19-21 October 2018 on Weston-super-Mare seafront, is set to be an outstanding year than ever as solo entries have soared close to capacity.

The annual race, which is in its 36th year, will be another special weekend with numerous attractions and displays throughout the three days, to compliment the incredible racing action on both Saturday and Sunday. Well-known for being the maddest, baddest and toughest race on the off-road calendar, the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race Powered by KTM sees hundreds of competitors battle it out over a mammoth dune course and is the ultimate test for man and machine. Lining up this year is back-to-back winner Todd Kellett, along with Billy Bolt, David Knight MBE, Robbie Maddison, Conrad Mewse, Mel Pocock and Josh Gilbert to name a few.

The goody bag that will be given to every competitor that signs on is filled with masses of gifts from HydroGarden, suppliers of equipment to the Hydroponics and Horticultural industry, and title sponsor of the Weston Beach Race. This exclusive bag includes a hand towel, water bottle, cap, t-shirt, stickers and more. Apico Factory Racing, one of the leading distributors and manufacturers of off-road products in the UK, have provided every rider with some stickers, while a sample of WD-40 is included in the goody bag and Dunlop is giving away a lanyard to every rider.

Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities
“We’re now into the final stages of our preparation for this year’s event and we’re as excited as ever for another great weekend on the beach. This year we have seen a massive increase in support from companies within the industry and also from outside, which goes to show how much the event is growing. It’s great that we’re able to give away some fantastic freebies to our riders thanks to the support of our sponsors, as it gives back something extra to those who compete in the race. We’re really looking forward to seeing some familiar racing regulars, as well as first time beach racers, along with the fans who love watching the high-action competition on the seafront every year.”
