Rider Interview - Jak Taylor



With the 2019 Judd KTM British Youth Championship heading into the final two rounds. 125cc rider Jak Taylor has had a positive year and heading into Little Silver for the penultimate round, he currently sits eighth in the British Championship.

We caught up with Jak to see how his season has gone so far and his plans for the penultimate round at Little Silver.
RHL: We are heading into the final two rounds of the 2019 season of the Judd KTM British Youth Championship. How has the season gone so far for you and is there any highlights from the season you wish to share?
Jak: “This season has been really good so far. I’m happy with my best overall finish at Fatcats with a 6th and 3rd in British Rookie class.”
RHL: At the last round at Desertmartin you had a good weekend ending up 8thin the 125cc British Championship and 4thin the 125cc British Rookie Championship. How was it for you and what did you think to the track?
Jak: “The last round at Desertmartin was a decent weekend. The track was unreal it was awesome to ride such a good track being 6th in my rookie season I feel really happy. I just hope I can keep it up going into the final two rounds.”
RHL: We head to Little Silver down near Exeter next weekend for the penultimate round of the season. It is a popular circuit in the south. Can you tell us what your thoughts are on the track and can you tell us a bit about your plans and goal for the weekend?
Jak: “I look forward to Little Silver as the track looks good and the RHL team will make it even better. My goal is to get good starts and stay consistent.”
