Acerbis supports the 2019 Weston Beach Race
RHL Activities is pleased to announce that Acerbis is supporting the UK’s maddest, baddest and biggest motorsport event later this month, the Weston Beach Race, which takes place on October 18-20 in Weston-Super-Mare.
Acerbis is a world-renowned brand that manufactures and distributes 1,000’s of motorcycle products from plastics to riding pants in over 75 countries worldwide. The company has always showcased its passion for the motorcycle-racing world with its ultimate purpose of being major player in this market sector, and the brand has worked with many high-profile racing teams over the years.
Acerbis has played close attention in the off-road motorcycle sector and has made its mark within events and championships such as the Dakar Rally, Enduro World Championship, the AMA Supercross and Motocross Championships in the USA along with various other iconic dirtbike races. With its protective products including helmets, riding gear and protection combined with its high-quality plastics including skid plates, handguards, full systems and more, the company offers a dynamic range for the offroad rider.
The Weston Beach Race and Acerbis continues its partnership for 2019 with the plastics-experts providing the 1,000 track markers required around the ultra-gruelling sand dune course. The race, which enjoys around 70,000 visitors each year, is gearing up to be another outstanding event and Acerbis’ valued involvement will certainly be a welcome addition to the industry support that the race receives.
Wynn Connell, General Manager UK of Acerbis
“Acerbis are proud to continue its association with RHL Activities and the iconic Weston Beach Race. We extend our best wishes to all the competitors at this year’s event.”
Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities
“It’s great that world-renowned brand Acerbis is getting involved for a second year at the Weston Beach Race. Acerbis is synonymous with the offroad industry and it is very fitting for them to be involved with the country’s biggest motorsport event. I hope this is a relationship that can develop going forwards, and the support is gratefully received.”
