Following a challenging week battling the elements in preparation for this weekend’s British Motocross Festival, a day of fantastic racing at Culham MX Park saw Graeme Irwin and Conrad Mewse take the honours in the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship, with Mike Kras earning the overall victory in the ACU British Two-stroke series yesterday (Sunday April 1).
Following a silver command meeting this morning between all the relevant officials and emergency services. The opening rounds of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship and the St Blazey Premier MX are a go for this Easter weekend.
It’s the final countdown to the British Motocross Festival where the Maxxis British Motocross Championship and St Blazey Premier MX is going ahead with off-track entertainment as planned on Sunday April 1 and Monday 2 at Culham MX Park in Oxford.
Following this morning's announcement RHL Activities have put into place the Wet Weather Plan with immediate affect.
The British Motocross Festival is the brainchild of RHL Activities Gareth Hockey, who has been working closely with the ACU to create a special weekend event that brings together the senior and junior British Motocross Championships. This is now happening for the first time in Culham, Oxford on March 30 – April 2.

Todd Kellett had a fantastic season in 2017 with his first overall win in the Maxxis British Motocross MX2 Championship and fifth overall in the series, followed by an incredible second consecutive victory at the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race
RMJ Academy Husqvarna UK’s Ashley Wilde will race this year in the British Two Stroke Championship, and is looking forward to round one at the British Motocross Festival, which takes place on March 29 – April 2 at Culham.
The team are at Culham MX Park today finalising plans and completing the track inspection for the British Motocross Festival.
