We spoke to Carl Bunch about his experience at this year's Weston Beach Race as he adds to his collection of Beach Race titles.

Here is what Carl had to say about this year's Beach Race win.

"It feels great to be back on the top spot at the Weston Beach Race, it’s been a while. It’s a good feeling that all that hard work you and your team put in pays off. I will more than likely be back next year as it will be my 20th time doing the race, I will be sticking to the 2 wheel drive solo class for now but in the future, I think I would like to give the 4x4 class ago. The only problem I had this year was the bike kept having the Urge to turn itself off in the last 50 minutes of the race which was very frustrating but luckily it got to the end of the race. The RHL team did a great job with the track it was challenging this year but I enjoyed it, the way it was built it wasn’t as wet as normal which suited me on the 2 wheel drive as I could be more aggressive and push a lot harder, I hope to see it similar to this again"
