Jamie Morgan on winning the Quadzilla Quad Race
8th October, 2021

Jamie Morgan made it his second Quadzilla Quad Weston Beach Race on Saturday 2nd October following his first race win back in 2019. After a long three hours and fighting for the lead early on in the race, Jamie took the chequered flag for the 2021 race. We caught up with Jamie earlier this week to see how he felt following the win.

"Weston was good. You know it was amazing to be back racing around Weston Beach, the hype and atmosphere is not like anything else. A big thank you to the RHL team for making it happen this year. The weather was absolutely appalling but I had a pretty decent start, top three led for a bit on the first lap. I just tried to stay calm and not make mistakes. The second lap I got my head down a little bit and tried to gain a gap, this didn't quite go to plan and Carl Bunce was going incredibly well where we had a good battle until I pitted. I managed to catch Carl back up and make the pass before he stopped for fuel. I just got the groove and got the laps completed. It felt really good, smooth and I managed to speed up as the race went on. I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who helped me and supported me. I can't wait for next year."
