Riders Briefing - Canada Heights

Welcome to the third round of the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship Fuelled by Gulf Race Fuels at Canada Heights, Kent.

Ahead of Sunday we would like to remind everyone of a few things.

LOCATION
The nearest postcode to the entrance of the event is BR8 8DZ and keep going for a further half mile. (Keep an eye out of the British Motocross Championship Direction Signs) - What3Words: LOCAL.NOISES.ENGINE

SITE OPENING & CLOSING TIMES
Please be reminded of the below times.
Saturday - 09.00am to 20.30pm
Sunday - 07.00am

RIDER REGISTRATION
Saturday - 09.00am to 20.30pm
Sunday - 07.00am to 08.00am

For security reasons the site is locked down at 21.00pm on the Saturday. There will be no vechiles in or out after this time.

If track grading/watering is in progress no one will be allowed to access the circuit for event safety reasons. No digging holes in the pit/paddock area to level up campers or caravans.

SIGHTING LAP
Sighting laps will take place throughout the event. (Subject to change by race direction)
Please note that when the sighting lap flag is displayed around the circuit there is to be no overtaking, there must be a significant reduction in speed, jumps are not to be attempted. Any rider caught not adhering to the flag may receive penalty.

ENVIRONMENTAL & SAFETY
Please note there is to be no fires or BBQ’s on the ground this weekend. All contaminated waste including tyres must be taken home. Everyone is reminded to use the toilets provided anyone caught urinating may be issued with a £50 fee.

TEAR OFFS
Please note tear offs are banned from this weekend at Canada Heights

HYDRATION
With the warm weather expected over the weekend please ensure you keep hydrated with water.

OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE
Please note any rider who receives outside assistance may be subject to a penalty from Race Direction. No parents, trainers or spectators to be trackside.

RIDER, PARENT & SPECTATOR BEHAVIOUR
Riding of machines within the paddock is prohibited. Machines are to be pushed whilst in the paddock. Our team are there for your assistance; we expect them to be treated with the same respect as you expect to be treated. Any incident in which a member of our team is verbally abused, threatened or assaulted will be treated as a criminal act and will be dealt with accordingly.

SILENCE IN THE PADDOCK
Please note silence within the paddock will be called upon at 10.45pm each evening and race engines must not be started outside of the venue restricted times.

DOGS
Dogs are allowed on site but please keep them on leads at all times

LITTER
Facilities will be in place, please use. The paddock/pit/track areas are all clean before you enter the site so we expect these areas to look the same when you leave. You must take home your tyres.

NO RIDING IN THE PITS
Riders are to dismount at the exit of the track. Any rider, mechanic and team members caught riding through the paddock will be subject to a penalty

FENCING
Please do not climb on or over any of the fencing in and around the site

ELECTRIC & PIT BIKES
NO Pit bikes or any electric bikes INCLUDING OSET’s to be ridden at the event

TECHNICAL CONTROL & SOUND CONTROL
Technical control on Saturday will be 3.00pm to 7.00pm. Sound Control will take place during these times with a discretionary additional allowance of 1.0db. If you aren’t selected and want to go through, please see the Sound Control team. For those riders arriving on Sunday morning there will be technical and sound control from 7.00am to 8.00am only. Please ensure you bring your bike, body armour and the correct Championship number board is displayed on the bike otherwise you will be turned away.

RIDING
Riding outside of the marked/defined course is forbidden, Any rider found to be in breach of this rule will render themselves liable for a penalty up to and including disqualification from the relevant session.

PRACTICE STARTS
Riders please be advised any rider 'queuing' to get onto the circuit whilst the start practices are underway and not returning to the line as instructed will render themselves liable for a penaly by Race Direction.

PENALTIES
Riders are reminded that any contravention of rules (National Sporting Code and Championship Regulations) will result in penalities and fine in line with these documents.

HELMETS
Please note the FOX V3R Helmet has now been approved by the ACU.
