Spectator FAQ's

Can I bring my dog to the event?

Yes, dogs are allowed at the event but must remain on a lead at all times.

Do you offer VIP tickets?

Yes, we have our Beach Race Bistro where you can experience the thrills and spills of the event from the comfort of our glass fronted Bistro whilst being looked after by our Hospitality team with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea with refreshments throughout the day. How do I get my ticket/s after I have purchased online?

All tickets can be downloaded from your RHL account. Once in your account go to my orders tab and select the order ID you purchase the tickets on. Once in the order if you scroll down the page you will find a download tickets link.

Where do I go when I arrive onsite?

Once you have arrived on site please head to the ticket office (White Lorry) where you will need to exchange your PDF ticket if you have purchased in advance or purchase your tickets on the day.

What trade stands are at the event?

We have our trade village which is located on the lawns and our exhibition stands along the main promenade of the event. A full list of traders and Exhibitors can be found here

Are there food units on site?

Yes, we have food units situated throughout the event site. You can find these highlighted on the event map.

Can I camp at the event?

Unfortunately, the Beach Race Camping Village is now fully booked however you can book a pitch with Weston-super-Mare Golf Club by calling 01934 626968 (Option 1) during the hours of 9am and 5pm (Monday to Friday) or alternatively email secretary@westonsupermaregolfclub.com with your details and someone will contact you back.

What classes are competing at the event?

We have the Youth 65cc, Youth 85cc (Small Wheel & Big Wheel), Youth 125cc and 250cc, Adult Solo, Quad Solo, Quad 4x4, Two Man Quad, Sidecar.

When will the podium take place?

The Podium presentation will take place one hour after finish of last race of the day.



Rider FAQ's

When is the last day I can enter to be featured in the programme?

The deadline to have a fully complete entry in and to be featured in the event programme is midnight on Saturday 24th September.

What classes are competing at the event?

What day and times can I complete rider registration?

Rider registration will take place on Friday 21st October 2022 between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm

When can I put my machine through Technical Control?

Technical control will take place on Friday 21st October 2022 between the hours of 8.30am and 6.00pm

What do I need to bring with me to Technical Control?

You will need to bring your Helmet, Boots, Body Armour and Machine. Technical control is split into two sections. First Technical Control point your Helmet, Boots and Body Armour will be checked. The final Technical Control point will be your machine check.

Are Tear Offs allowed?

The use of tear offs is not permitted within the site

Where is the Pit’s located and who is allowed within this area?

The Pits are located next to the Tropicana Café along Marine Parade (What3Words – leave.twice.bumps). Only persons with a mechanics wristband will be granted access. No person under the age of sixteen is allowed into the pits unless they are racing.

Where and when do I pick up my Transponder from and return to?

Transponders can be collected and returned to the timing hut which is situated opposite the big TV screen in the heart of the event (What3Words – fans.misty.clouds). Hours of operation are 8.30am to 5.00pm on Friday to Sunday.

Can I get to my machine after it has been placed in Parc Ferme?

Once a rider has put their machine into Parc Ferme, they will not be able to enter until the day of their racing. On the day of racing, riders will be permitted to enter the Parc Ferme circa 5 minutes prior to racing.

When will the podium take place?

The Podium presentation will take place one hour after finish of last race of the day.

How many passes do I get as a rider?

1 Rider Pass and 2 Mechanic Passes, for 2 Man Quad and Sidecar classes receive 2 Riders Passes and 2 Mechanic Passes.
