The UK’s Most Iconic Off-Road Motorsport Event
Every year, the beach is transformed into a one-off sand battlefield that pushes riders to the edge and keeps spectators locked in from the first launch. Solo riders, quads, sidecars, buggies! There’s a class for every taste, and each one brings its own brand of chaos. More than a thousand racers take it on, from hungry newcomers to established names, all going flat-out in front of a heaving seafront crowd. When you’re stood on that beach, the noise and intensity hit different.
Across the weekend you’ll see six full races with over 1,300 riders involved-an insane amount of action for anyone watching from the sidelines. Whether you’re here for the racing, the atmosphere, the food, or just to witness something on a scale you won’t see anywhere else, this is the event people keep coming back to.
And it’s not just for the hardcore fans. The entire setup is built to be a genuinely good day out for everyone. The trade village is packed with motorsport gear, local stalls, and things you’ll probably end up buying even if you told yourself, you wouldn’t. Kids get their own spaces too! Try-out zones, trampolines, fair games, the lot—so no one’s bored.

You can even meet the riders. Throughout the weekend there are meet and greets where you can get up close to the names you’ve watched hammer their way through the sand.
If you want a weekend that actually hits the spot, this is the one.

Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset BS23 1AL
The Weston Beach Race takes place along the Weston-super-Mare seafront, stretching across the main beach area with viewing of the whole track and start straight available. The course runs along the sand, weaving around natural dunes, the shoreline, and purpose-built jumps for around 7km all available to view for spectators!

Spectating from the Dunes is not allowed as this is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This means they are protected for their unique wildlife, plants, and natural sand formations. Walking or standing on them can cause damage to fragile ecosystems that take years to recover. You do have access to front row action from the beach itself, from viewing the start straight to the biggest dunes – spectators are guaranteed the best viewing spots.

Some areas have slightly firmer sand, which is ideal for standing and walking, while others are softer, so shoes that can handle sand are a must.
Sections of the beach may become wet or sloshy after rain or tides. Prepare for your shoes to get sandy or wet.

For the younger audience who don’t want to walk the length of the beach there is a land train available!

Spectators can access the site from Friday to Sunday of the event with the correct and valid ticket.
Gate opening times are from 9am each day.
Tickets are available:
Online tickets cease prior to the event, please keep an eye on our socials, don’t miss out, after this point, after this point, tickets can be purchased on the gate (subject to availability).
Tickets can be collected on the day of racing or prior to the event on the Friday from 2pm.
We have a couple of rules for the beach that all spectators must adhere to. These include:
