Long before it was a staple in calendars and long before social media hype, Weston in ’91 was raw, chaotic and utterly relentless, a weekend that still lives large in beach‑race lore.

By 2002, the Weston Beach Race was firmly established as one of the toughest and most iconic events in British motorsport. That year, however, brought its own challenges. Due to adverse conditions, the race was postponed and rescheduled, making 2002 one of the few times in Weston’s history that the event did not run as originally planned.
